Icon Helmets now available in 7-14 days

Welcome to our website. Our leading product for the next few months is ICON. Since our inception we have always stocked some sort of ICON clothing as we think it will help riders stand out from the norm. The new thing with ICON is that we can now get everything on the RIDEICON website (with the exception of SUZUKI GEAR) and that include helmets. The only downside is that delivery time will be 7-14 days from date of order, but hey, are not all good things worth waiting for?. We have been wearing ICON for over 3 years and find it easily is as good as anything from  Alpinestars or Dainese. Especially Jackets, Jeans and Boots. The other piece of important news as far as helmets go is the emerging story of X-Lite as a Premium brand easily as good as Arai or Shoei. They have just been brought right up to date with the  ability to now fit BLUETOOTH as part of the full face line-up. We now have 3 riders out there fully loaded and as happy as Larry with the performance.

What helmet is best for you?

As most of you who are reading this will already know there is a vast range of motorcycle helmets out there you can choose from, in fact if you are new to motorcycling then choice of lid can be a bit daunting. Well after years of personal research we can bring things down to what I can only describe as, does a helmet have a TRACK RECORD, a history, a reputation, I think you get the idea.

Then things usually come down to cost, I may know that that £585.00 helmet is the best you can get, but can I afford it?

We think you can get a good idea of the helmet you need by following these pointers. See if you agree.

What Bike do I ride (Naked, Supersports, Tourer etc)
How long do I stay in the saddle per trip (average)
Do I commute and jump on and off my bike more than average.
Do I ride in all weathers?
Are looks important?

Once you have gone through these pointers you ought to put them in importance order and make your choice.

We stock Arai, X-Lite, Nolan, Shark, and Icon, all used for racing and in the case of Arai usually the choice for long distance all day all weather experienced riders as well. X-Lite for those who need the same but very good for naked bike riders who like minimal buffeting and wind noise. Nolan would be the choice of riders who want value for money and with the N103 a highly regarded Flip helmet. Shark offers stunning safety with value, but is an acquired taste for looks. Icon is for anyone looking for safety and looks and meets or exceeds the following: DOT FMVSS 218(US), ECE 22-05(EUROPE), and SAI AS1698 (AUSTRALIA) & SG (JAPAN), safety and testing standards.

What do we wear? I ride in an X-Lite 701 and an Icon Domain 2, but have worn Arai, Shoei, OGK, Nolan and HJC over the years. Best helmet? X-Lite no question just ask Stoner and Lorenzo.
